Third meeting of the project coordinators
Today – 17 January 2022 – the coordinators of the project INT-198 Mare – Pomerania – Confinium held their third meeting. During this very fruitful meeting they recapitulated the first year of activities and discussed especially the plans for 2022. An important part of the meeting was dedicated to the impact of the project which has motivated the partners to submit a panel proposal entitled “Uncomfortable Heritage. Symbolic bordering and de-bordering in (post)conflict constellations” for the XXIII International Congress of Historical Sciences 2020/2022, which will take place in Poznań in August 2022. A further topic concerned as the preparation of anglophone historical studies on borderlands and Baltic issues at the University of Szczecin. The participants expressed their will to continue cooperation and look for common themes in order to start further joint projects.
