Second workshop to prepare a joint programme of studies and subjects devoted to the Baltic Sea and border area
On 15 March 2022, a second workshop was held to prepare a joint programme of studies and subjects devoted to the Baltic Sea and border area / Workshops zur Vorbereitung eines gemeinsamen Studienprogramms mit Fächern zu Ostsee- und Grenzraum. They were attended by representatives of the University of Szczecin and the University of Greifswald connected with the course History and Culture of the Baltic Sea Region – HiCuBaS. The aim of the online workshop was to present and discuss the planned English-language bachelor’s degree programme developed by a team of the Historical Institute of the University of Szczecin under the direction of Dr. Paweł Migdalski: “Baltic Region Studies”. The meeting was very fruitful, as the discussion brought not only comments on the programme itself, but also discussed the future exchange of students between universities in the Baltic area. The possibility of cooperation within the framework of the Virtual Baltic School (Virtuelle Hochschule Ostseeraum) was also raised during the meeting.
