
Panel ‘Uncomfortable Heritage. Symbolic bordering and de-bordering in (post)conflict constellations’ during the XXIII International Congress of Historical Sciences in Poznań
The XXIII International Congress of Historical Sciences (21-27.08.2022) in Poznan came to an end on 27 August 2022. During the working work of the INT 198 Mare – Pomerania – Confinium project, the initiative was taken to submit a panel for the event. A team consisting of Joerg Hackmann, Paweł Migdalski, Piere-Frederic Weber and Paul Zalewski prepared the concept and the proposed composition of the panel entitled “Uncomfortable Heritage. Symbolic bordering and de-bordering in (post)conflict constellations”, which was accepted by the organising committee. The panel finally took place on Monday 22 August in Lubrański Hall. The panel was chaired by J. Hackmann and P-F. Weber, while papers were given by P. Migdalski and P. Zalewski. Panellists from outside the project included Kristina Joekalda, Moustapha Sall (remote), and the discussion was summarised by Jie-Hyun Lim.
