First workshop “Perspektiven der Border Region Studies in Szczecin” / Workshop “Perspectives of border region studies in Szczecin”
The first workshop “Perspektiven der Border Region Studies in Szczecin” / Workshop “Perspektiven der Border Region Studies in Szczecin” was held online on 7 March 2022. The aim of the workshop was to present and discuss with partners and invited experts the programme and assumptions of an English-language course of studies on Borders and Boundaries Studies, developed by a team of employees of the Historical Institute of the University of Szczecin under the direction of Dr Paweł Migdalski. The master’s studies are to be held in English and take into account a broad interdisciplinary spectrum of knowledge and skills. Participants included staff from the B/ORDERS IN MOTIONS centre at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and the Brandenburgische Technische Universität (BTU) Cottbus-Senftenberg. The workshop was very fruitful, and the comments and advice provided by the experts will certainly contribute to the development of the best possible study programme offer.
